What will a prospective 31-year-old Austrian Head of Government mean for Austria and Europe at large?

Together in a likely coalition with the far-right populist FPÖ, Sebastian Kurz will have to manage a delicate tightrope walk between Macron and Visegràd, between "Willkommenskultur" and Closed Borders, between liberalism and conservatism.

As Austria is heading for the EU presidency in the autumn of 2018, what will all of this mean for European reforms, the growing chasm between western and eastern EU countries and, above all, the final BREXIT negotiations?

A small European player, albeit with tremendeous implications for the Union at large.
