European Centre @ POLIS

Department of Politics and International Studies

Spiral dome ceiling

We are a multi-disciplinary research centre based in the Department of Politics and International Studies at the University of Cambridge.

We function as a hub for European studies in Cambridge—our interests span politics, society, law, history and international relations.

Our Centre provides a focal point for academic research on Europe as well as a space for debate about current affairs and policy-related issues.

We will list past, and future events run by the Centre, will showcase publications of its members and will provide details about ongoing research projects.

Structure of the Centre

The main decision-making body is a Steering Committee, which is made up of the director and committee members. We also have associated members and bring together all the POLIS PhD students whose work touches upon Europe.
